Glide down the road in this stunning Black Cherry Metallic 1962 Lincoln Continental. Few cars
are as iconic as this “suicide door” 4-door sedan. As the second production year for the
Continental, Lincoln worked to refine drivability and quality aspects. Aesthetically, the two model
years are very similar with minor changes to the front grille, bumper, and headlight positioning.

This wonderful example has recently come up for sale after 15 years of caring ownership. The
client purchased this car from Leominster Lincoln-Mercury of Massachusetts in 2005 with
29,434 miles. The odometer now shows mileage of 30,906, this is believed to be original but
cannot be confirmed.

The 430ci V8 pulls strong and the 3-speed turbo-drive automatic transmission shifts smoothly.
The supple black leather upholstery is complemented by a walnut instrument panel and door
trim. All four windows are power operated and function as intended. A unique aftermarket
American Sunroof Company power sunroof has been added and is fully functional. All four
corners are wrapped in Cooper steel-belted radial white-walls. The underside is in pristine,
rust-free condition.

This is a wonderful driver quality condition example that could easily be returned to Concours
with a few cosmetics upgrades or driven as is!
