A lot of time and money has been put into preserving the originality of this uncut fender Bronco. The underside shows no signs of off-road use or abuse, and the urethane paint is in phenomenal condition. The paint is roughy 6-8 years old, and likely is better than the factory enamel. Dual fog lamps have been mounted to the front bumper, and are fully functional.
The twin Flowmaster exhaust system makes sure to turn heads while out for a drive. The hardtop is removable for summertime cruises, and new weather-stripping has been added for year round use! This truck was previously a southern truck and was brought up to the Northeast 2 ½ years ago, it has since been stored in a heated garage.
The interior has been restored to its original spec and shows minimal signs of wear and tear. The comfortable white bucket seats are complemented by the neat tan carpets. The carpeting adds an almost upscale feel, while also helping control the noise and heat.
This Bronco from factory was outfitted with a 289 cubic inch Ford V8 and features the dual gas tank option. The auxiliary tank is selectable with a toggle switch on the dashboard. This truck received substantial modifications and upgrades under the previous ownership. The 289 motor was bored out 30 over and oversized pistons were fitted. Other additions include power steering, new fuel pump, new oil pump, new aluminum radiator, front power disc brakes, and a new pressure plate. There are under 10,000 miles on the new motor build. We recently converted this Bronco to an automatic, as opposed to the 3-on-the-tree.
Recently serviced items include ignition, suspension, seals and gaskets. This truck is also outfitted with a 4-point roll cage, 2 barrel carburetor, 2-speed transfer case feeding both axles, and a retro-radio conversion. We recently installed 4 brand new Firestone Destination A/T tires (P235/75R15), and 4 period correct US MAG wheels (15X7).
