Redline Restorations is pleased to offer this superbly restored 1972 International Scout II. This Scout has 65,679 original miles on its body and is powered by the rare optioned 4-speed 345ci V-8. This Scout spent many of its years in California and Washington state. The truck received a fresh coat of Flame Red with white Rallye striping roughly 6 years ago. The removable hardtop is in wonderful condition, but the headliner is original and will need replacement after 45+ years.
Under new ownership in 2017, this truck received a significant mechanical overhaul. The serviced items include: installation of Fit Tech Fuel injection system, front disc brake conversion, new windshield, window seals, master cylinder, proportioning valve, engine mounts, transmission mounts, belts, hoses, radiator, gas tank, locks, headlights, and more. The itemized receipts totalling roughly $17,000 will also be included in the sale.
The truck is lifted by a 4” spring style kit, standing tall on LT265/70 Mastercraft Courser MXT tires, and 17” American Racing Ansen aluminum wheels with satin black rings. The interior has been re-upholstered in dark red with black carpeting. A functioning period correct radio is mounted in the dashboard, while the center console features an Alpine head unit, JL Audio subwoofer and speakers. The head unit is Bluetooth, Sirius XM, and Pandora compatible.
